Amie Ward

Amie Ward is a Baltimore-based bartending veteran, board-certified health coach, and a 2018 graduate of BAR 5-Day®. She founded The Healthtender in 2017, and also serves as Executive Director of Safe Bars, Online Program Director for HEARD, and President of the Baltimore Bartenders’ Guild. Through these platforms, Amie addresses health, equity, and safety disparities in the local and global hospitality industry by providing training, education, and unrestricted access to wellness resources. While her primary work life revolves around health advocacy for the beverage alcohol community, she is also the Beverage Director for Camp Runamok and a judge for the L.A. Spirits Awards. Amie enjoys pulling trucks and competing in Strongwoman competitions, skating with her roller derby pals, and relaxing at home with her two sphynx cats, Nofuratu and Alexander OvechSkin.
