Leo DeGroff

Leo DeGroff is a New York City based bartender and proprietor of beverage consultancy, Prince Cocktail. DeGroff’s career has spanned over a decade with work experiences ranging from bartending at regarded establishments like BED NY, ‪Pegu Club, and ‪Sweetwater Social to coordinating the back of house for high profile events such as the BAR 5-Day Program®, Ultimate Beverage Challenge, BarSmarts, World Class Competition, Life is Beautiful, and many others. Utilizing his affinity for technology, Degroff has been able to develop efficient and organized bar concepts and layouts for dozens of world class bars.

DeGroff continues to educate himself on the world’s spirits and his desire to learn has taken him to Mexico, Peru, Chile, Spain, France, Ireland, Japan, China and Cuba for first hand experiences in distillation, culture, and bar life.

Sean Kenyon

Sean Kenyon is a 3rd generation Barman and proprietor of Williams & Graham, Occidental and American Bonded in Denver, Colorado. Over the course of his 33-year bartending career, Sean has managed bars and cocktail programs in NJ, TX and CO and consulted on several national programs. Williams & Graham opened in 2011 and has since been named one of the “World’s Top 50 Bars” By Drinks International. Food & Wine, Imbibe, Wall Street Journal, CNN, Playboy, USA Today, and Esquire have recognized his beverage programs and bars. At Tales of the Cocktail 2014, Sean was honored as “American Bartender of the Year” and in 2015, Williams & Graham was named “American Cocktail Bar of the Year”. Occidental has been noted as one of Esquire’s Best Bars and Playboy’s Top Ten Bars. American Bonded, was recently named one of Liquor.com’s “Best New Bars in the World”. Sean feels blessed to make a career out of something he loves so giving back to his community has always been a top priority. He works with several local Denver charities.

Julie Reiner

Julie Reiner has been elevating the cocktail scene in NYC for 20 years most notably with the opening of the Flatiron Lounge in 2003 which helped change the way New Yorkers drank!  As co-owner and beverage director of Flatiron, Reiner drew much of her inspiration from her native Hawaii by utilizing the freshest fruits and premier quality spices & spirits available in her original cocktails. In 2008, she ventured to Carroll Gardens Brooklyn to open up Clover Club, a pre prohibition cocktail bar and restaurant. Julie’s beverage program at Clover is highly focused on classics, and furthers her signature style of superior quality and green market ingredients.

In 2015, Julie opened Leyenda, a pan Latin bar and restaurant with Ivy Mix, a long time bartender at Clover Club. Leyenda celebrates the spirits and imbibing traditions from across the Spanish-speaking world and beyond. The drinks are complemented by authentic fare by Chef Sue Torres, a noted Latin culinary authority.

Julie’s consulting company, Mixtress Consulting, helps to create top-notch beverage programs and cocktails for resorts, restaurants, bars, and spirits companies.

At Tales of the Cocktail 2009, Clover Club was honored with the award for “Best New Cocktail Lounge in the World”, and in 2013, took home the award for “Best American Cocktail Bar”, “Best High Volume Bar”, and Julie was personally awarded “Best Bar Mentor”. Leyenda received a James Beard nomination this year for outstanding beverage program, and both bars have been recognized by Drinks Internationals 50 best bars in the world.

Julie’s recipes have been featured in The New York Times, New York Magazine, Food & Wine, Imbibe, The Wall Street Journal, Esquire, Playboy, Gourmet Magazine, Food Arts, Bon Appetit, GQ, Fortune, Wine Enthusiast, O Magazine, Crains, Time Out NY and Time Out London, The London Times & Wine & Spirits. Julie has also been featured on The Today Show, The Food Network, the Cooking Channel, Martha Stewart Radio, CNBC, LXTV, and the Fine Living network. In 2011, Julie was honored with a James Beard nomination for spirits professional of the year.

Charlotte Voisey

Best American Brand Ambassador, two times Golden Spirit Award winner at Tales of the Cocktail and recognized by the James Beard recognition for contribution to mixology, Charlotte Voisey is the Director of Advocacy for William Grant & Sons USA.

Host of The Proper Pour with Charlotte Voisey on www.smallscreennetwork.com, Charlotte has cocktail recipes published and placed on menus across the world including New York’s famed PDT, the iconic Dorchester Hotel in London and Whitechapel in San Francisco.

Charlotte has traveled the world but made her name at home in London. In 2002, with the Gorgeous Group, Charlotte opened classic cocktail bar Apartment 195 and was soon named UK Bartender of the Year. In 2005 Charlotte was invited to guest bartend at the Aspen Food & Wine Classic and consequently fell in love with the US cocktail community, one year later Charlotte officially made the move stateside to represent her favorite spirit, Hendrick’s Gin.

Charlotte was named inaugural Mixologist of the Year for Wine Enthusiast Magazine and previously won silver medal at the World Female Bartender Championships in Italy. Other favorite accolades include her Punch & Judy named Cocktail of the Year by a panel of peers at Tales of the Cocktail in 2008.

Charlotte’s passion for all things spirits and cocktails keeps her in an active speaking role at all major industry events including Tales of the Cocktail, Aspen Food & Wine, Las Vegas Nightclub & Bar Show, Roots and Barra Mexico and a regular contributor on television including appearances on The Today Show, Iron Chef America and Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

In 2019 Charlotte was invited to be an Associate Partner of the BAR 5-Day Program®.
